SWIMMING POOL RULES



GUEST RULES: All guests must be registered at the pool and accompanied by a member. Guest Fees: $4.00 Weekdays, $5.00 Weekends & Holidays.

BATHHOUSE REGULATONS: Dressing or undressing on the grounds is restricted to the bathhouse. The Club will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles.

DRESS REGULATIONS: Conventional swimming wear, no cut-offs or gym shorts.

POOL REGULATIONS: Concessions are restricted to the designated areas.
Children under the age of 18 years will not be permitted to smoke inside the pool bathhouse.

If you wish to send your child to the pool with a babysitter, you will not be charged for the babysitter. All children 11 and under must be accompanied with adult supervision.

Any guest who lives more than 60 miles from Pine Valley is considered an out-of-town guest and may swim at the pool at no charge.

Persons with infectious diseases or open sores will be prohibited from using the pool and bathhouse facilities.

All bandages must be removed before entering the pool.

Running, shoving, pushing, towel snapping or other activities, which might be injurious to others, will not be permitted.

Pets will not be allowed within the pool enclosure.

Profanity is strictly prohibited.

Only children 6 years and under are to be in the wading pool. There will be no lifeguard supervision at the wading pool; therefore, parents will be responsible for the safety and welfare of their children.

Children with diapers are not allowed in either pool.

Suntan lotions only: NO SUNTAN OILS
There will be a rest period every hour, not to exceed 15 minutes as directed by the lifeguard. On busy afternoons, after the pool has been vacated, the Pool Manager may permit adult swimmers to swim during the rest period.

Balls and inflatable equipment will be allowed only during non-crowed periods with less than 20 swimmers, at the discretion of the Pool Manager.

Swimmers may be asked by guards or manager to swim two widths of the pool before entering the deep water.

No playing, hanging or diving over the life lines separating the water areas will be permitted. These lines are for the safety and protection of the swimmers.

All swimmers should clear the pool when the whistle blows. The whistle will signal break times or an emergency.

The shallow end of the pool is reserved for youngsters and beginning swimmers. Older children who can swim should stay free of the shallow area.

Penalty for infraction of the rules is at the discretion of the guard on duty or the manager. Repeated infractions will call for suspension of the pool privileges. Parents will be notified by the Pool Manager.

The manager in charge of the lifeguards is authorized to initiate policies or rules at any time such action, in his opinion, is necessary.

Due to the fact that it will be impossible to provide sufficient chairs during crowded periods, no chair can be reserved, nor can towels or articles of clothing be left on the chairs. We ask the cooperation of children to give up their chair to adults.

The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible active member.

All bicycles shall be placed in the area provided for this purpose.

Members shall drive slowly and carefully on driveways and parking areas.

The hours of the pool are as follows:
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. swim team practice;
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. group lessons
11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. open swimming.

Special events may be scheduled by the Club Manager or Pool Committee that will conflict with the above hours from time to time. Posting of special events will be administered by the Pool Manager, for your convenience.

No food, beverage or coolers are allowed to be brought into the pool.
